Conservis Partners with The Climate Corporation to Deliver Enhanced Data Insights for Farmers

Collaboration to Enhance Digital Tools to Help Farmers Easily Manage and Track Their Farming Operations in One Centralized Platform

Company Release – 7/24/2017

MINNEAPOLIS, MN– Today, Conservis Corporation, the leading provider of Enterprise Ag Management Solutions, and The Climate Corporation, a subsidiary of Monsanto Company, announced a partnership that will enable farmers to seamlessly connect their Climate FieldViewTM account to the Conservis platform for enhanced operational tracking and financial reporting.

This unique collaboration between Conservis and The Climate Corporation’s industry-leading Climate FieldView platform will deliver farmers a simple solution to easily access a broad and interconnected set of tools, services and data through one, connected digital agriculture platform, helping them optimize all of their farm management decisions throughout the year.

“A key part of our mission is to unify the farm’s data,” said Matt Moen, vice president of channel sales at Conservis. “Through this new partnership with The Climate Corporation, we can now provide farmers advanced insights through a single platform to help them make economic decisions powered by agronomic data – agnostic of equipment color.”

Conservis’s Machine Data Integration will automatically integrate planting, application and harvest data captured in a farmer’s Climate FieldView account to enhance the operational and economic decision-making and reporting tools in the Conservis platform. Farmers will be able to view activity records using production data from any equipment brand that is connected to the Climate FieldView platform, providing farmers a more holistic view of their operation and eliminating the need for manual data entry.

“It shouldn’t be a manual process to move data between farm management systems,” said Mark Young, chief technology officer for The Climate Corporation. “We look for synergies where data can be easily exchanged between our Climate FieldView platform and our platform partners to give farmers the power to centralize their data, uncover valuable field insights and optimize inputs. We are thrilled to work with Conservis and further expand data-driven insights on the farm.”

Launched in 2015, The Climate Corporation’s Climate FieldView platform is on more than 100 million acres across the United States, Canada and Brazil, with more than 100,000 users. Backed by the most powerful data science engine and most extensive field research network in the agriculture industry, the Climate FieldView platform delivers customized insights that help farmers make data-driven decisions with confidence to maximize yield potential, improve efficiency and manage risk.

Conservis works with farmers and financial stakeholders around the world to turn their business data into actionable insight. The company began in 2009 when four progressive farmers looked to technology to help make their operations more efficient. Today, it is trusted by some of the world’s most successful agricultural producers to manage their land, equipment and crop assets on the Conservis platform. As an independent partner to growers, Conservis continues to solve the business challenges faced by farmers by making farm-level data more actionable season after season.

As innovation in the digital agriculture space continues to accelerate rapidly around the globe, Climate continues to explore platform partnership opportunities to provide farmers with the insights they need to improve their productivity.
